I received a pretty nice server on a computer repair job. I am since refurbished it fairly well and I am looking to start from scratch optimizing it for a high level out put WordPress ecommerce store. Currently I host through Adobe Business Catalyst Services. The simplicity is there but I am looking to develop my coding skills beyond their limits. WordPress seems like the right choice from here.

I have previously installed wordpress php MySQL & phpmyadmin but my raid was not set currently. I only had about 100gb available some how. If anyone could recommend a proper Raid setup I’d appreciate. I have done prior reading and it seems raid 10 is suggested. Should I use different software completely like Ubuntu or Apache?
